The Prison Labor Complex
The penitentiary as the new burgeoning labor market. Don't care? Is Your attitude 'screw 'em'? It does not concern you that many of the folks in jail are innocent? And a whole new class of people are heading to jail who are not even tried or convicted of a crime (preventative detention)? Well, one day as this trend continues (and it will) you will be treated as you were once content to see others treated. Many American are now living in Trailer Parks when they once had very good jobs and nice homes. They never in a hundred years would have thought bad things like this could happen to them.

They did.

Brothers and sisters, this nation will mock the God of Justice once too often.

Criminal Indifference

Brothers, I care about the poor and downtrodden. I know God does too. That is why I write on things that most Christian sites shy away from. Sure I could be like most and just talk about Abortion and those 'evil' liberals, as though the GOP is not just as morally bankrupt. But I am not going to do that. There are a thousand other evils out there transpiring that few are really talking about. I talked quite a bit about what is happening in Colombia and Sudan on Monday. These issues are important because in all likelihood the poor man down there is going to lose his livelihood as the new Free Trade pact takes effect. It gives the large US major food conglomerates a way to get into those markets and drive down wages, putting the small farmer out of business. Obama went along with the exceptionally conservative US Chamber of Commerce and overruled concerns by American labor groups who were concerned about the level of violence (like murder) against Trade Unionists. The situation is not good. Here is how Human Rights Watch described the situation.

During its first year in office, President Juan Manuel Santos’ administration showed a greater concern for human rights than the government of former President Álvaro Uribe, which was racked by scandals over extrajudicial killings by the army, a highly questioned paramilitary demobilization process, and abuses by the national intelligence service. In 2011 President Santos won the passage of the Victims and Land Restitution Law, which aims to return millions of acres of land to displaced persons and provide financial compensation to victims of human rights abuses and of violations of international humanitarian law.

However, paramilitary successor groups continue to grow, maintain extensive ties with public security force members and local officials, and commit widespread atrocities. There has also been ongoing violence against rights defenders, community leaders, and trade unionists. Candidates campaigning for the nationwide and local elections in October 2011 were also frequently killed amid reports of alleged links between candidates and armed groups. According to the Colombian NGO Mision de Observacion Electoral, 40 candidates were killed in 2011, representing a 48 percent increase in such crimes reported during the 2007 local elections. Moreover, new constitutional reform proposals promoted by the Santos administration could facilitate impunity for human rights abuses by giving a greater role to military courts in prosecuting military abuses, and by opening the possibility for amnesties for serious violations by all actors. - HRW World Report 2012: Colombia

These issues are not about some overpaid factory worker,  but people who are already existing at the sustenance level who are being attacked by powerful paramilitaries that have a long history of association with US corporations. Brothers, American workers are next. It will not matter if you are a republican or democrat, your wages, benefits, job security are going to be in the crosshairs in the next few years. The President has put in place to the tools whereby the next President can begin to go after unions in ways folks never would have thought possible in America. That is the target. When the real rich men get together (like the Business Roundtable or the Chamber of Commerce) and decide what the next President will pass and what he will attack, Labor Unions will be very high on the list. So get ready. Look at the Occupy protests. The President went after their protests with all the fury of hell and with a very high degree of deniability. He ordered the cracdown (with his DHS)  but made sure the paper trial was very slight. It was done at the political level. A phone call from key donors or party hacks to state and local leaders and the next thing we saw was a crackdown. This is the future, it is happening right now before your eyes but most of Americans refuse to see it. As more and more people lose work and are stuck in low paying jobs, the tension is going to grow and calls for labor organization will grow. You cannot pay rent, eat, put gas in a car, pay utilities on $10 an hour, no matter how many pundits try and minimize the deep financial adjustments Americans are having to make. The real powers behind the throne have already decided that the Labor movement must be undermined. It is not enough that almost half of Americans are living near or under the poverty line (according to the Census).

That is why I have stated and maintain that those entities in the House, Senate, DHS and our intelligence community who have allowed all of this domestic spying and humiliation of law abiding citizens or find ways to justify it are part of the problem. The terrorists that they willl turn this on will  be Americans who protest for better wages and better working conditions when the sweatshops become more commonplace. One cracked shop window at a protest and they will have the excuse to call their protests 'terrorism'.

This is why I talked so long about the new spy center in America. It is not paranoia to ask questions about it. One person I had an exchange with about this insinuated that I was 'paranoid' because I am very concerned about the implications. Why should I not be? History about how these surveillance techniques were used in the past to stifle peaceful dissent (Church Committee Report) should give any rational person a reason for pause. I may be paranoid, but insiders I know don't surf the net from their home and they don't have these new fangled smart phones. So you can call me 'paranoid' all day long. They know the sh-t our government is doing to us in secret to a completely unsuspecting population.  The Jews of Nazi Germany were probably called paranoid too.... all the way into the gas chambers. When this nation starts talking about putting people into camps without a trial and killing them outside the law and then actually does these things... well,  you just need to get out of that boat that is floating down the river of denial.

Well, they called Black folks 'paranoid' when they said crack was  being sold in their neighborhoods with the help of the US government, But it was being shipped here on planes owned and operated by the US intelligence community! But you are 'paranoid' if you point it out.

Former DEA agent Celerino Castillo alleged that during the 1980s Ilopango Airport in El Salvador was used by Contras for drug smuggling flights with the knowledge and complicity of the CIA. These allegations were part of an investigation by the United States Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General.[10] Castillo also testified before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Between 1996 and 1998 the Central Intelligence Agency investigated and then published a report about its alleged involvement in cocaine sales in the US. This was prompted by the journalist Gary Webb's report[11] in the San Jose Mercury News alleging that the CIA was behind the 1980s crack epidemic. Gary Webb alleged through his Dark Alliance series that the government had been complicit in the trade of drugs in the inner city through the use of a kingpin named Freeway Ricky Ross. According to the Oakland Tribune, "In the course of his rise, prosecutors estimate that Ross exported several tons of cocaine to New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and elsewhere, and made more than $600 million in the process."[12][13][14]

You can watch an 8 minute Video here, it s very good.

And you want to tell me that now, the US has spent two billion dollars on a new spy facility that will scoop up all this data to be stored, analyzed without any kind of warrant and people should not be concerned? While we are sitting here with nearly $15 Trillion in debt... and this is their 'priority'? Now I will grant you. I am not privy to the intricacies of how this data collected (yes, I did say collected) or can be obtained and used by US law enforcement or even inside the Intel community. There may be some kind of legal review before data on US citizens is released. But the government has been anything but clear on this and has kept it all secret. Why? If the data can only be obtained via a warrant from a Federal Judge then they should tell the people. But they have not done this, so I tend to think this is not the case but that a far more 'free and open' use of intercepted, stored and analyzed communications is taking place, perhaps in highly classified and extremely compartmented (perhaps illegal and outside of the Courts review or knowledge) programs. But I cannot be certain because I do not know. But if we get to the point (and we will, mark my words, we will) where labor protests are called terrorism, then this spy center will be used to crush legitimate non-violent dissent in America by using the same methods used against Al Qaidea

1) Data mining to see who labor activists are talking to using emails, phone calls and social networking sites and picking up or even executing extra-judicially (a fancy word for illegally) activists and the people they talk to. This is what they have been doing on Colombia for years, with decades long US complicity (more here and here). The US now has the 'legal' authority to do the same with activists... uh, I mean 'terrorists' and President Obama has, as you know, already executed American citizens in this manner.. no hearing, no trial.
2) Denying them the right to travel inside the US by putting them on 'Terror' lists
3) Putting them into detention centers without hearing or trial in America's new 'SuperMax Prisons

Some insiders say... that'll never happen. To which I say, 15 years ago, who would have said that we would put people in jail forever without a trial, torture them without trial and execute American citizens without a trial. What did people like that say back then?  I will tell you. They said..

..."It'll never happen".

So you can sit there in your good paying job thinking it is just not going to effect you. But it will, probably much sooner than you think because this economy is in much deeper trouble that you are hearing about and the Fed is going to have serious trouble dealing with the flood of currency it has printed to fund America's government. What is happening all over the world is about wealth, the distribution thereof and a global 'race to the bottom' so that labor is as cheap as possible... for the Corporations. That is why this story on the Prison Complex is so important. They now have a massive pool of captive labor in America. Who has the largest prison population on earth? I will let you look that one up.

So are you indifferent to the problems of your brother and the innocent blood that is pouring into the ground while their land is being stolen from them, while you enjoy the products of slave labor? Are you deaf to their cries?

How likely do you think the Lord will hear you when you cry out when the repo-man shows up and takes the Lexus and the sheriff posts an auction note on your home, while you are way at your new job at the Dollar Store for $8/hour and can't find a place to rent at your income level? I tell you the Lord will put divine cotton balls in his ears every time you utter a prayer. He will treat you with the same indifference with which you were content to see others treated with. You don't think God cares for the poor? You think God is only for the rich corporate moguls and people of European decent? Is that what you think? If so, you had better open up that Bible and read it. Read whom Jesus ministered to, read the Prophets and how they castigated the rich when they treaded on the poor. Read the book of James who warned about showing deference to the rich, "But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?" (Jam 2:6) and warned about their end.

Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
(Jam 5:1-7)

Show some real, genuine, bona-fide concern for the downtrodden and stop falling into the cheap political slogans ('tax breaks for the rich make the economy grow', 'whining liberals are the enemy', 'America's workers are overpaid') that is killing the poor man all over the world. And stop falsely calling your criminal indifference 'Christianity'.

Brothers, I talk about things that need to be talked about. I know people may not like what I have to say, but that is their loss. People get mad at me  because I do not mince words. Too bad. We have too many politically correct cowards sitting in America's pulpits and running 'Christian' sites. It is time to call evil what it is, wherever it is and stop supporting it with our silence, money or votes.

Don't be an ignorant American all your life, get saved and become a real Christian!
